Another small meet-up

Hello dears!

Last weekend we had a small meet-up again. It wasn't an official meet-up because my friend just wanted to visit a certain café to order a cake, but then more people came haha.

The certain café should have been the cupcake café which we already visited numerous times, however the owner kinda forgot that she has closed that day for a private party, so we were walking through the cold, rainy and windy weather to find a place for 7 people on a saturday in a super crowded city center >_<. One person suggested a fancy café where we still had to wait around 30mins to get a table, and me and a friend were already on our way out to try our luck with another café, when finally got a table. And now I'm happy that the cupcake café was closed, because otherwise I would have never found out about the super delicious cakes the fancy café has!

I know many fancy cafés with a huge amount of cakes and tartes in the display, looking very tasty, having a high price tag, and then just taste meeeh. But this one not! Ah I want to visit it again! (It was Café Reichard at cologne central station if you want to know xD)

I ordered a citron baiser tarte (on the left):

More or less good group picture haha:

And my outfit for the day (I chose a super simple one because it was just too cold. I was even wearing black leggins, not tights xD):

Small Meet-up

After a looong time, I organized a meet-up again! Well it wasn't that much of a long time, I actually organized one in summer and one in December with one of my friends! BUT this is the first one I'm blogging about haha!

Last weekend was the "Cologne Kyoto Festival", which at first sounds really great. Kyoto is a partner-city of Cologne, so the Japanese Culture Institute celebrated it with a festival. But a better word would be "small get-together for the eldery". Haha I don't mean it in a negative way, but the organizers didn't really made any kind of advertisement, so of course who else would visit such an event. Also the program wasn't that much, but then again, with such a few visitors, not many exhibitors would want to come anyway. There was a very small (and a little bit ankward) selection of exhibitors - a technology company, a knife seller, and a travel agency. Well now that I think about it, if you can speak japanese, this festival would be perfect for practising your skills. But the event wasn't a complete fail, at least I now know that the Institute has a small libary which looks interesting, so I might visit it some day.

So after a short time, we visited a local café and had very delicious cake! I have so many small and interesting looking cafés around my home, I want to make many meet-ups and visit them all!

Sweet'n'Goth Lolita Event

Today I visited the small Lolita event "Sweet'n'Goth", which was part of the small convention "Harajuku Day". Since there are often beginner-Lolitas at the convention, some Lolitas decided to make a little Tea Party for them and give tutorials about the fashion.

I'm not a beginner but I still visited it, because I thought it would be a great opportunity for a meet-up. Also some of my friends were there, but not as many as I thought.

First my outfit. I have to say I really loved my hair and outfit, haven't worn something like this in a long time.

There were around 20 people attending the event. At first it started with a make-up tutorial, which was a nice idea, but it ended up being quite long. Then we could grab some food. A maid café had prepared some cupcakes and sandwhiches. We spended a lot of time talking and eating, and then the organizers realized that we don't have enough time anymore for another tutorial about Lolita shopping ^^'

But there was still a little time left for the posing workshop. I liked the idea very much and this is even something for non-beginners, however I didn't made use of it because there were too many people and I wanted to have a look at the main stage of the convention.

Slightly later there was a Lolita fashion show, I also watched it. After then I directly left because I was very tired and I wanted to go a little shopping.

So in total I stayed like 3,5 hours at the event, way too short for the amazing hair I had ^^'''. I don't know if I will visit it again, because it's really more for beginner-Lolitas, but I think it was great for them.

Sweet 50's - American Diner, Milkbar & Bakery

2 weeks ago I met with my friends in a new café called "Sweet 50's - American Diner, Milkbar & Bakery". The name discribes it perfectly!

The café has a true 50's atmosphere, everything is just perfectly decorated! It has sooo many details and the owner collected everything in the USA during the last 10(?) years. The owner loves Lolita and was really happy that we came. She even made a cute Facebook post:

The food looked delicious too and I directly ordered 3 items: a praliné cupcake, a Rocher milkshake and a Chili con Carne. Everything was lovely prepared and you can see that the owner puts a lot of effort into her café.

While waiting for the food, I took a few pictures:

After eating we took outfit pictures. I put extra effort into my hairstyle that day! The last time I did a real hairstyle was in July 2014 O__O''''''

Together with Savannah <333:

And with Mabu <333:

Now some outfit pics from the other girls ^^:

Group picture!!!

I'm curious how the café will be in a few months, I think I will visit it again in summer ^-^

New Year's Meet-Up

New Year started only 4 days ago and we directly had a meet-up! It was organized quite spontaneoulsy but in the end we were around 8 people.

We met in Düsseldorf and wanted to go to "Sugarbird Cupcakes". The store was surprisingly empty but when we entered the waitress told us that all tables are reserved... usually they don't take reservations on saturday?! Then we went to the "Relax" Café to find out they sell food only in the afternoon... so we only had a drink. We ended up in our usual chinese restaurant "Dschunke" because it is ALWAYS empty xD

We ordered a lot of food and had great conversations... well except when some people started to talk about medical themes... I always find them disgusting, when I only think about blood I almost fade xD

Before I left the house, I did a selfie with my christmas tree. It was really hard to do with my heavy Canon camera >_<

My outfit for the day:

Outfit of the other guests:

After this we went to the japanese supermarket and I found a lot of "Do it yourself"-candy!!! Maybe you can remember my old post about funny japanese candy and that I searched for it everywhere, even in London! And now our local japanese supermarket got a quite big order of such candies :)

Maybe I will make another post about them where I create the candies :)

Asu's Advent Cafe

A few days before Christmas I attended a small christmas party from my friend Asu. She organizes it since ~4 years and I already attended it in 2012. I was  very excited for this event to happen because it was my only christmas Lolita event this year. I couldn't attend other events because I have a temporary job and have to work every Saturday in December.

I drove together with Mabu who also lives in my city. I was glad that I didn't had to travel alone since we needed 2 hours for one way to Asu's apartment X_x. Because of this I was really unmotivated to go in the morning, but I told myself that it will be awesome and I was not disappointed :)

When we entered her apartment everything was beautifully decorated. I especially liked her christmas tree with a lot of disney baubels! She also decorated the tables very cute.

When everyone arrived we started to eat cake and cupcakes!
After eating we went outside to take a few pictures.

3 guests are missing on this picture because they took the picture or came too late.

This was my outfit. I have worn "Innocent Rose" by Btssb. I was happy that many people liked my dress. It's currently my favourite dress because I'm more interested in Classic-Sweet styles at the moment.

Here a few selfies:

In the evening, we watched 2 episodes of "Shopping Queen" where my friend Asu was a part of it. Then Mabu and me had to leave.

It was a nice day and I could wear Lolita after a long break. In the last 5 months I only have worn it 2 times (Chocolate Meet-up and this event). But for january I already have planned 2-3 occasions to which I look forward to ^_^
