REVIEW: Eternita Magazine + Under the Sea Event scans

In October, a new magazine called Eternita was released in Japan. The name seems to me like a mix of eternal and Lolita. It actually has a few english words on the cover which say: "Fashion magazine for grown-up Alices". And indeed this magazine is dedicated to grown up Lolita Fashion or Otome styles.

At the beginning it shows items from basically all the Otome brands like Milk, Pink House, Leur Getter, Michal Negrin and many more. Then it follows with items from all major Lolita brands, like Angelic Pretty, Btssb, Innocent World etc., but it only shows the grown-up pieces of those brands.

After that they present some tutorials for natural hair styles and make-up, as well as a bigger chapter about handmade items. They show 15 tutorials for small sewing projects and accessories, which is quite a lot compared to the Lolita Bible. I find them quite inspiring and I even found a few I would like to recreate.

The last pages are event snaps with a full page of the Under the Sea event! (You can view all outfit pictures and more pictures of the event at the Facebook page of Eternita *here* ^_^).

Overall I like the magazine, it has comparable quality to the Lolita Bible, but it is definitely more related to Otome than Lolita style. So I recommend it more for people who are interested in Otome or very natural Lolita styles.

International Lolita Fashion Photobook

Yesterday a new e-Book got released by Ai Akizuki, which contains 200 pictures from Lolitas around the world. Several months ago, Ai asked on her Facebook page to send in some pictures for a book, and I also sent one which is used in the book. It is even used on the cover!

You can buy the book on Amazon for 4,61€ , it is a Kindle book but you don't need a Kindle, you can also download an App for your computer or mobile phone and read it there.

I bought the book, but I'm a little disappointed, since the pictures are quite small and you can't zoom in (it's nearly as pixelated as the preview...). Also they weirdly cut some pictures to have them all in the same size. And I think they didn't made any selection of pictures, they just put every picture they got into that book (I mean most pictures are good, but some are lacking quality).
Sorry, I sound a little critical, but those were just my first thoughts after flipping through the book. After all it's still a cute book, it contains some great outfits and the layout is nice. It's divided by continent and country, and it's always surprizing how many Lolitas live in countries you don't hear much about (like Israel, Colombia, South Africa).

Here is the page with my picture:

Angelic Pretty Tea Party Paris 2014 in GLB and KERA

Last year's Angelic Pretty Tea Party in Paris was covered by a huge article in the Spoon magazine. Because of this, I didn't thought that it was printed in other magazines too. But today I visited my local japanese bookstore and flipped through a few magazines, not wanting to buy anything, but then I saw that the AP Tea Party had a small article in the GLB too! And you can even see me in a few pictures *_*

It's the GLB Autumn 2014, Vol. 53.

Also a few weeks ago I saw that the group picture of the AP Tea Party was shown in the KERA. The article was not about the Tea Party itself, but about the history of AP.

It's the KERA 3 / 2015, Vol. 199

Doll Classica Tea Party in KERA magazine

Hello!

Today I bought the newest KERA magazine and was happy to see a few pictures of the Doll Classica Tea Party in Paris 2015. It's the Kera 10/2015, Vol. 206. Of course I will share the scan of it with you!

The quality of the pictures is already bad in the KERA, so it's not my scanner's fault for the too dark or too bright pictures >_<

BTW you can also see my tiny head in one of the pictures xD

Lolita in "Shopping Queen"

Some weeks ago I wrote about a little picknick we had for the TV show "Shopping Queen". Finally the episodes with my friend Nadine are released and our small picknick is also shown! =^.^=

You can watch the part of the picnic here:
http://www.vox.de/medien/sendungen/shopping-queen/3fca1-1f1dda-ad47-22/die-prinzessin-nadine-will-koenigin-werden.html

Or watch the full episode here:
http://www.voxnow.de/shopping-queen.php (Das Jubiläum: Tag 4 / Nadine)

I think the other girls of the episode behaved ok when they looked at Nadine's closet. Of course they thought that her dresses were crazy and costumes, but 'normal' dressed people just can't understand why you would wear such clothes and not everyone has to like Lolita, so their reaction was okay for me.

But I was really surprised by the reaction of Guido Maria Kretschmer. He made really nasty comments and from a famous designer I would expect more acceptance for different fashion styles and I think, every desinger should know the fashion of Tokyo, since this is the place were worldwide fashion trends are created?!

What do you think about this episode?

Spoon Scans: Angelic Pretty Paris - Store - Fashion Walk - Tea Party

Hello dears!

The Spoon magazine finally arrived *o* You can get a copy here if you want. The issue has many pictures of Angelic Pretty in Paris, for me it's a great memory and I can finally say about myself that I'm in a japanese magazine ♪ヽ( ⌒o⌒)人(⌒-⌒ )ノ ♪

The first half of the magazine is full of Angelic Pretty pictures only, so when I flipped through the pages I almost thought it was another AP mook! The spoon magazine is generally quite simple, most pages are huge pictures with no text. Actually only the part about AP in Paris looks less simple.

I photographed all relevant pages about Paris, you can click on them to view them bigger:

 Cover of the magazine

First row: Opera, the final destination of the Fashion Walk + waiting at a traffic light during the Fashion Walk
Second row: Tea Party location

Group picture (it's really blurry in the magazine T_T)

First 4 pictures: Fashion Walk
Bottom - left picture: The first customers of the pop-up store (the girl in the red dress was the first customer!)
Bottom - right picture: customers with Maki & Asuka (M&A took pictures with nearly all customers, very cute ^^)

 First row: Pop-up store
Second row: starting point of the Fashion Walk at Gallerie Vivienne (the girl in the middle at our group picture is the first AP customer again, she wanted to buy the CDC and she got it! And we met Renske from Utrecht again ^^)
 All other pictures: Tea Party

First row - right picture: 2nd winner of the outfit contest
All other pictures: guests of the Tea Party

First row - left picture: 1st winner of the outfit contest
First row - right picture: Ami and me with Maki <3 (The japanese description says something like our princessly outfits fit perfectly to the Tea Party venue, and that we are twinning)
Second row - right picture: Winner of a dress set at the raffle

A girl on Facebook told me that nearly all AP Tea Parties in Paris were also printed in the KERA magazine! So maybe the newest issue has pictures too!
After I heard this, I searched for the AP Tea Party 2012 which I attended, and it was also printed in the KERA *O* I already found this issue on Ebay and I will buy it next month when I have more money ^_^

I'm at the AP website

Angelic Pretty released the pictures of the tea party, pop-up store and fashion walk! You can see me there too on 4 pictures ^^. Those pictures are also printed in the newest issue of "Spoon"! Now I can say that I was in a japanese magazine :D. I directly bought the magazine and I will show you the scans when it arrives.

I think these pictures were all taken by Ms. Honda, because I can remember that she took the picture of Ami, Asuka and me. But maybe those pictures are from several different photographers or another photographer took the same picture at the same time, because there were many people constantly taking pictures at the AP Tea Party xD.

Here is the link: http://www.angelicpretty.com/news/2014summer_paris/report.html
I hope they will release an english version too!

I posted the pictures here but on the website they have better quality!
