Paris Day 2 - Japan Expo

On Sunday we wanted to visit the Japan Expo. We wanted to arrive at 9 am ... and left the hotel at 10 am xD First we had fear if we will ever made it to the Expo, because the trains were so full that we couldn't make it in two trains! And when we finally arrived at the Expo, there was a huge crowd waiting in the ticket queue. We didn't bought them before but in the end, we hadn't to wait longer then 10 minutes.

The Expo is really huge, 10 times bigger than the biggest german convention! We spent the whole day just looking at the stalls and buying a few things ^^ You really need 5 hours to see everything! I was happy to find the booth of Holley Tea Time very fast, but unforunately many things were already sold out. Lucky me they have an Online Shop :D

In the afternoon was a Harajuku Kawaii Fashion show.
Innocent World, 6%Dokidoki, HellCatPunk and Spinns presented each 4 outfits. I personally loved the 6%Dokidoki show the most, it was so much fun!! Here are two videos with parts of the fashion show: click for 6% and click for IW
And after this was the highlight of the day for me: the showcase of Kyray Pamyu Pamyu!!! I love her so much and her show was great! I never thought I can see her live but finally it happened faster then I thought ^^ Unfortunately her merchandise was soo expensive but now I regret that I didn't bought anything >_<

After the show we went to the booth of 6%Dokidoki. I think it was closed most of the day, so when we arrived there was already a huge crowd before the booth! It was totally war to get any of the items xD But I also have to say, the shop owner were sooooo slow to pack the items. She needed like 5 minutes for one costumer >_< At the end, we bought a twin accesoire, one of their famous shooting star brooches. It cost 19€ but it was totally worth it!!!

 

I also searched for the booth of NKH World, which host the most awesome TV in the world: Kawaii.international TV! I thought there would be something special but no, they only had a big poster for Kawaii.i xD

Paris Day 1 - Shopping

Hello hello I'm back from Paris :D I will make a post for each day, because otherwise it would be too long. Btw I was there with my friend Ami ♥

On our first day we went just shopping! When we arrived at Paris, we had only 30min to find the Btssb store until it closes, but we were so stupid and ran in the wrong direction for 2 times >_< But not too bad because then we were already near the Angelic Pretty store and could meet Maki and Asuka!
They are so nice to you, no matter what you are wearing, and make you feel like you are their favourite costumer xD I wanted to buy some items I reserved, but they forgot my reservation and had nothing anymore.

Then we visited Princess Crepe. This store is sooo cute, the perfect location for a Lolita shooting but unfortunately you are not allowed to take pictures. I ordered something with chocolate and it was very tasty!

After this we went to the Lafayette. It is very big and has many beautiful things to buy, but so expensive. Right next to it is also a Sephora store, a paradise for makeup! I bought a Lipgloss and the most glittery blush I've ever seen!

At the end we wanted to try the allegedly world's best Macarons from Laduree... and also world's most expensive ones xD One Macaron costs 3,10€ - but they are very delicious, you have to try them!

At the evening we went again to the Angelic Pretty store, because the shop owner wanted to look if they maybe have something left from my reserved items, but no luck again. But at this time we went back to the Hotel before to change into our pretty clothes, because the shop owner said that the japanese TV will come with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu! We waited and waited and she didn't come, so we left after one hour :( But it wasn't too bad because at the next day we met the shop owner again and he told us, that only 5 girls were selected to appear in the japanese TV and also only 5 girls got an autograph from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Cupcake baking and kind-of-shooting

Hello my dear readers!

Tomorrow I'm travelling to Paris for Japan Expo, AP Tea Party and a lot of shopping :D But I haven't packed my luggage yet... I even haven't decided want I want to wear xDDD

But before I leave, I want to show you some pictures I took with my friend Evangeline last Saturday. We baked some cupcakes and we needed 3 hours for it, but in the end they tasted totally horrible X_X I think it happened because it was an american recipe, and in America they have other kinds of flour, baking powder etc. But at least they looked pretty and we could take some nice pictures :D

Btw, the headbow is a present from Evangeline, she sewed it for me because I hadn't a matching headbow for the dress! Isn't she awesome??? ♥♥♥

100 Lolita Questionnaire: 11 - 20

11.What do you dislike in Lolita?
~ all the hateful Lolitas online and their online-communities... I can't understand why some girls are constantly discrimating other Lolitas just because they are not natural beauties, can't afford brand or don't wear perfect coordinations
~ that Lolita clothes are so expensive and that I have to buy everything online, so I have to spend a lot of money for an item of which I don't know if it fits me or look good in RL

12. What lolita magazines do you read?
I read the GLB, but since I can't speak japanese it's more looking at the pictures then reading xD There are also several magazine projects from western Lolitas, so when I have the chance to get my hands on their magazines, I read them too ^_^

13. Headdresses, bonnets or ribbons/headbows?
The truth is, I don't own anything of it! Yes I'm not kidding, I think I'm the only Lolita on earth who doesn't own a headbow... the problem is that I get very fast a headache from any kind of hair accesories, even from simple hairclips or headbands, so I was never willing to spend much money for it xD Of course I own some offbrand headbands and several rose clips which I usually put in my hair, but no real Lolita items ^^
Oh wait I own a headpiece, but I don't feel comfortable wearing it O_O

14. Do you wear bloomers?
It depends, when I'm wearing thights I don't always wear bloomers, because it can be uncomfortable around your waist if you are wearing 2 pairs of tights, 2 petticoats and even bloomers.... Sometimes I also wear shorts instead of bloomers, because they have pockets so I can hide my valuables in them ^^

15. Do you tie headdresses at the front or in the back?
I think it looks cute if you tie them in the front, it looks more like a doll ^^ But sometimes it looks stupid or is uncomfy, so it depends on the item.

16. Who is your favourite band/type of music?
I could write a looooong list about it xD Usually I hear Classic and Metal. I also hear a few japanese bands, but only because they are wearing Lolita or other fashions xD Of course I like the music of them, but I think I would never have started listen to them if they weren't wearing japanese fashion... they are: Nana Kitade, Kanon Wakeshima, Malice Mizer and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

17. What is your cellphone ringtone?
At the moment it's the ringtone of Barney Stinson :D

18. Do you attend concerts wearing Lolita clothes?
If it is an japanese artist, then yes, because the concerts are usually not crowed and I really enjoy wearing Lolita if the artist is also doing it. But I worn Lolita once to the concert of 'Subway to Sally' and it was a really bad idea! Metal concerts are not for pretty clothes xD

19. Do you go to work or class wearing Lolita clothes?
I wish I could, but I love Sweet Lolita so I buy only Sweet Lolita items, but I would feel very strange wearing a pink pony skirt to university, so I'm not doing it.

20. Wich ones are your favorites color in coordinates?
Pink! Also cream-white and mint but mostly pink!

Antique Market

Today I visited the Antique Market in Cologne with my friend Evangeline. It was so rainy outside and like always I overslept, so no outfit picture, sorry xD

Yeah the date is wrong...

I wanted to buy a tea set, because every princess needs a beautiful tea set and I didn't owned one :D

 

 

I also got another cup as a present! The seller said that the cup fits perfectly to our outfits (I wore my Angel Pony JSK and Evangeline her Toy Fantasy JSK) so she had to give it to us ^__^

Also, last week I baked some cupakes with another friend. They turned out to be the most beautiful cupcakes I've ever baked xD

3. Why did you start to dress lolita?
I fell in love with the clothing because I always was a princess inside, you could see it at my room and my stuff, but not on my clothes and with Lolita I finally found the clothing I wanted forever! But funny enough that today after 4 years of admiration I still don't wear Lolita everyday, only when I meet other Loli-friends at weekends...

4. Which style of lolita do you like?
Sweet, OTT, Country - also Classic and white EGL but I've never worn this two styles before.

5. Describe your dream coordinate.
I have many dream coordinates but at the moment, I'm planning the perfect strawberry outfit of my life!

I don't want to say many but I know several girls of which I'm very happy to know them, and which I can always ask for a meet. A few of them also became real friends even if some of them live 2-3hours away from me ;_;

10. What do you like the most in Lolita?
That I can look and feel like a princess and doll when I'm wearing the clothes, and that I can have a wonderful day with other Lolitas even if the only similarity is our fashion.

I now I now, the title is a bit selfish but the truth is I had much luck the last 2 days :D
First, Ami and me won 1st place at the Dunkelsüß photo contest! The contest was about Easter pictures, but you couldn't win a real price... the three winning pictures are staying as the community headers for 1 week. In my eyes they could stay longer, not because I want to see myself all the time, but because they are more colorful and not so boring black-grey-brown-ish like the old header xD

The second thing is, that I won a ticket for the AP Tea Party in Paris!!! I am sooo happy, because I wanted to go to Paris for the last 2 years, but I didn't had the chance until now, and that I won a ticket for the Party makes the trip even more special for me ♥
I'm hoping that also Maki and Asuka join the Tea Party, because the AP Shop in Paris didn't anounced them yet...

Also good news, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is coming to the Japan Expo in Paris! I love her so much, she has a great style and sooo cute songs xD I don't understand most of the song texts because they are in japanese, but the english words are always the names of candy xD She will be singing and holding a fashion show!


I also need a giant tulle headbow like her and I'm thinking about wearing something Fairy Kei-ish to Japan Expo ^_^
