Lolita meet-up and new Puri machine

Hello my dears!

On Saturday was a little Lolita meet-up in Cologne, organized by my lovely friend Loopy <3 We were around 12 people? I'm not really sure because some people left before we took our group picture.
I wore my new Little Bears Cafe JSK for the first time and I 'twinned' with my friend Evangeline ... okay we only had the similar print and nothing else, but at least it was the same dress so I was happy xD But we already planned our twin outfit, we want to sew Donut aprons for the dresses!

First we went to a Cafe and then we tried the new Purikura machine! I was so happy and excited when I heard that cologne also has a Puri machine, and I thought about how often I could go there... BUT the machine is not that great ;__; It has no real photo paper, there is no good light, and when you touch the screen to apply a stamp, the stamp appears 2-5cm away X__X The machine itself is nice because you can make as many pictures as you want and you can choose from 10000000 backgrounds and 10000000 stamps and can repeat a picture as many times as you want in case you don't like it, so it's really sad that the pictures don't turn out so well.

2nd Sweet Harajuku Day

On Saturday was the 2nd Sweet Harajuku Day. Well to be honest it wasn't really a Meet-up, most people did their own thing because of some troubles, but yeah we still had a nice day ^_^

At first I met Ami and Loopy a bit earlier, because I wanted to buy a Hime dress (my first one from a real Hime brand xD) from another girl. We went to drink a Bubble Tea and then we met the other girls. Most of them were dressed in Gyaru/Hime and a few in Fairy Kei and Lolita. They looked all so lovely and pretty! <3

After the obligatory Purikura and eating an Onigiri, we went to a chinese restaurant. Alina celebrated her birthday and she said we can come also to the restaurant if we want ^^ The food was really delicious and it was the first time that I ate real chinese food! Because the usual restaurants who dare to call themselves 'Chinese' have only fried chicken and other fried meat, with fried vegetables, with fried noodles... well you can eat it if you're hungry but it's not too tasty.

I also wore my kind-of-under-100$-Lolita-outfit ... "kind of" - first it wasn't under 100$ because I don't own the nice cheap shoes I showed you in my last post, and second I think the outfit doesn't look that Lolita-ish especially because I didn't wore my huge petticoat, but to be honest I also wanted that the outfit looks more like Hime and not so much Lolita xD

I traded a blouse for the Pony that day, and I searched for a name... Marron wanted to call it Edward, but I wanted it to be a female Pony xD So I decided to call it Marron-Junior :D

Lolita Blog Carnival: Design a complete coordinate for under 100$

I think it's really hard to create a full Lolita outfit for 100$! I'm sure that every Lolita has an outfit in her closet which cost less than this, but usually the items were collected over a longer period and not bought at once. However I'm happy to tell you that my items are still available to buy... but not for long anymore because some of them are on sale (and that's the only reason I could find a cheap coord ^^)
Btw I also own all of those items except for the shoes!

I think my coordination is something between Lolita and Inspired, I had especially a hard time to find matching shoes, because all shoes I own are not available anymore or too expensive ^^' But I still like my coord and I want to wear it on Saturday for the Sweet Harajuku Meet-up! Then I can show you worn pictures ^_^

The different styles of Sweet - DECO LOLITA

DECO LOLITA

Deco Lolita is a mix of Decora and Lolita Fashion. Some people are complaining that this style is just Decora with a Lolita dress, but that's not true! I will show you the differences in my following explanations ^_^

Hair:

In Decora it's normal to use your real hair in your natural color. Dyed hair is also okay but you don't wear wigs. However in Deco Lolita it's necessary to have voluminous hair, usually a wig in unnatural colors. For the best overfilled look you can backcomb your hair into two giant pictails.

Colors:

The preffered colors are popping colors like hot pink, red or vibrant blue, mixed with some pastel colors. In this way you create a very busy appearance.

Accessoires:

This is the most important fact in Decora: Wear as many accessoires as possible! You're not only wearing multiple necklaces, bracelets and rings, but you also overfill your outfit from head to toe, which could be many buttons on your dress, plushies turned into bags, a huge amount of pendants on the bag, several toys placed anywhere in the outfit, and even rhinestones and stickers in the face! 

But the hair decoration is different in Deco Lolita: while you wear a ton of simple hairclips in Decora, you choose less but bigger hairclips in Deco Lolita. Usually you wear a big headbow and place plushy clips, rhinestones, decorated mini hats and more bows around it.

Clothes:

In Decora fashion it's necessary to layer clothes, like wearing multiple skirts and shirts. But in Deco Lolita you wear usually one JSK or OP with a poofy petticoat and all-over print. You can wear several socks and leg warmers. For shoes you choose typical Lolita shoes like Mary-Janes instead of sneakers.

Makeup:

It's important to wear heavy makeup, especially if you are wearing a giant wig and several stickers in your face, so your face doesn't get lost between all the hair and accessoires. That means fake lashes, Circle Lenses and a popping lipstick color. But the makeup should still look pretty, don't look like a clown ^_~

Hello my dear readers!

Recently I just got my 50th reader! I'm so happy and I just want to say thank you to all people who follow my blog, also a special thanks to the girls (and boys?? xD) who are always commenting my posts <3 I told myself, if I get 50 readers I will make a give away! So I will prepare it and tell you soon more about it <3

And now to my last special purchases! I bought one of my dream dresses, Little Bear's Cafe in pink! I love teddy bears and donuts so I had to buy this dress! But to be honest I dislike the squirrel, it is so ugly xD This is also a special dress for me because 2 of my friends own it in different colors, so I can twin with them ... wait, I can triple with them xD <333

And then a My Melody bag! I bought it for the new dress and as a Hime bag! Aaaand Himena Ami has the same :DDD

New bloomers for Fairy Kei! They have a skull print *O*And isn't the little bow perfect as an Hime hair accessoire? Yeah I think much about Hime recently because I felt in love with this style and I just bought my first real Hime dress... just hope it fits me... ^^'''

A petticoat for Fairy Kei... but it is sooo short -.-

And the last item, new tights of Holley Tea Time! I wanted printed tights for a long time now and I'm so happy that I own them <3 They are REALLY good quality, I mean they cost 25$ which looks expensive at the first sight, but they are really soft and made from a robust material (like leggins), so they will last a long time!

Meeting friends in Münster

Last Saturday I travelled to Münster to meet some friends. We had a little picknick and then took pictures in the beautiful botanical garden. But unfortunately, the garden is really green and don't have so many colorful backgrounds for Sweet Lolitas xD

31. What is your motto?

32. What are your dreams of the future?
The biggest dreams of me are a pretty house in a warm place (I know Germany is not the coldest place on earth, but already too cold for me >_<). Then I want to live in the USA for some weeks/month and explore the whole country. And of course I want to travel to Tokyo to go hard core shopping there xD

33. "She's so perfect for Lolita!"- Did you ever think it about any celebrity?
No never, to be honest I can remember names of celebreties but not how they look xD But when I went to school, there was a girl in my class who had the perfect curled golden angel-like hair, she would totally look fabolous in Lolita *_*

34. Do you have any piece that's special for you?
My first Lolita item, a strawberry skirt from Angelic Pretty. Then my flower dress, because it's perfect in every way, and my Pony bag, because I wanted one for soo long and then I got it as a present from a good friend ^_^ And also my flower dress from Ane x Imoto, because it gives me the perfect Country Lolita feeling... yes this was nearly my whole closet ^^'''

35. What was your first Lolita item?
Like I just said, my first item was a strawberry skirt from Angelic Pretty:

36. Do you pose in a special way for pics?
Not really, I don't know many nice poses, so when I see a nice one, I copy it and do it for the rest of my life xDD

37. What is your style "bible"?
I usually get inspired by pictures of other Lolitas, from the GLB etc.

38. What is your ideal heel size?
Flat xD But I loooove Plateau shoes, so as long as the difference between front and back is not more than 7cm, I can walk in them comfotable.

39. Do you wear tiaras?
Not on a regular basis, but I want to buy me one!

40. Did you ever think about trying "Prince" style?
I thought about it, because I owned the perfect Kodona pants, but they became too big for me so I never came around to try this style and I also don't want to try it anymore, because I love Lolita because of its princess look, not prince look ^^
