Future Posts + 100 Lolita Questionaire: 71 - 80

Hello!

I'm doing this questionnaire now for several months and I think I want to end it soon, so this week or maybe next week I want to finish it. I don't know if it is interesting for you to read but for me it makes much fun to write, so I will answer all questions ^^
Please be patient, because after this I'm opening my GIVEAWAY! Yes I told you about my giveaway some weeks... or months??... ago, but I wanted to have nice items for my giveaway, and yes it took me that long to search for something nice.
Then in february and march I will have more time to continue my "Different styles of Sweet"-series and maybe other intersting posts :)

So now to the next part of the questionnaire!

71. What age should you stop wearing lolita?
At the age you feel uncomfortable wearing it. And I think you should wear clothes which suit you. I definitly agree that one should wear what she/he wants, but I also think that you should have a bit of fashion sense when you are wearing Lolita, because especially Lolita is known for its sometimes almost insane perfection.

72. When do you think you should graduate from lolita? And why?
Isn't it the same question like the one before? xD
But I will say something about my style. At the beginning I really loved the childish outfits, but in the last weeks/months I felt a bit uncomfortable to wear my very childish outfits, so now I try to find dresses which looks more feminin and 'grown up'. I still love Sweet Lolita but I want to concentrate on dresses with flower pattern. I even have a new dress with a rose print in the mail, but I will tell you more about it when it arrives :)

73. "You should stop doing that!!! >_<" What must a lolita not do?
Stop reading Lolita Secrets. Even if you only read it and don't write secrets or comments, you still support this community because the secret-writers know, that everyone is reading it. And please also stop talking about this awful community on every meet-up, it is so annoying >_<

And also stop being angry because someone says that Lolita is a costume - seriously guys not everyone knows that Lolita fashion is even excisting!

74. "A lolita should be 'this'!" What do you think that should be?
A Lolita should do what she wants and should behave like she wants, but also respect other opinions and concrit. I think the hardest debate in Lolita is when it comes to oufits. Some people try something new and then other people say "Sorry but this isn't 100% Lolita". On the one side you should wear what you want, and if you think that your oufit is Lolita, then go ahead and wear it with proud. But also accept that others don't think the same like you.

75. Besides #73, is there anything you should definitely not do while wearing lolita?
Hmm most people would answer sports, but I think you can even do sports in brand clothes if you don't mind wearing bloomers as pants xD And you can make sports where you can wear fancy clothes, like Croquet or bicycling :)
But I think you should not try to wear Lolita on places where it is totally inappropriate.

76. What do you think of men in lolita?
If they wear Dandy/Kodona, I'm totally fine with it. But to be honest there are just a very few Brolitas (boys who wear dresses) who look good in their outfits. 99% of the Brolitas just look weird and creepy, because most of them wear Lolita as a costume anyway, and not as a fashion. I don't want to meet them or have contact to them, because I'm not sure if they really want to wear this fashion or do it just because they are weird. In my opinion, a Brolita who really wants to wear Lolita dresses as a fashion style, puts A LOT of effort in his outfit. He wears high-quality clothes and puts much time in his hair and make-up. This are the only ones I could trust but I never met a person like this before, I only saw picutres and TV interviews. One person you all know and who I actually find very pretty, is Mana-sama :)

77. Did you change yourself to be a lolita?
I didn't changed my personality just to become a Lolita. But of course my personality learned a bit from experiences while wearing Lolita :)
The only thing I changed was my body, I started a diet to loose weight, I wasn't fat but when I wanted to buy my first dress, I realized that I didn't fit into all dresses I liked. (The last months I gained everything back, but I'm currently making a diet again ^^)

78. What does your family and other people think of you dressing lolita? And do you accept it?
Haha nice question ;) My parents think on the one side that it is cute and pretty, but on the other side they ask me "Why do you want to wear that outside the house?" xD
All the friends who don't wear Lolita also don't know that I do it, because I just preferred not to tell them. Maybe they saw a picture of me somewhere but I usually don't tell them. But to be honest, I found so many friends through Lolita fashion that now most of my friends are Lolitas anyway xD

79. How do you wear lolita in the boiling mid-summer?
Usually if it is really hot I just don't wear Lolita, but since some conventions are in the middle of the summer, and since I hate it NOT to wear something fancy to a convention, I was really that crazy to wear Lolita at 30°C!
I wear an OP or a JSK with a T-shirt (not a blouse because I think the fabric of a T-shirt is more sweat-friendly and also more comfortable).
Then I wear no petticoat or a light petticoat, and short socks. I also don't put on much make-up and don't wear much jewellery. Also a wig is a really bad idea, it is better to make a hairstyle where you pin up your hair.

Here two outfits:

You can see in my face how hot it was
and I even was so crazy to wear tights xD

80. Have you gone to school or work in lolita?
No, I think my Sweet Lolita style is not very comfortable for everyday life, and I think also not appropriate for Unisversity. If I would study Fashion Design, then I would do it, but otherwise no ^^'
But this doesn't mean that I wear lazy ugly clothing in everyday life. I wear pretty fancy clothes, I even got asked several times if I go to a special event or to a party, but it's just not Lolita :)

100 Lolita Questionaire: 61 - 70

61. "Man, what a rip-off!!" Have you ever thought that about a store?
Yes, I thought this about my first Angelic Pretty bag! I bought it brand new from the store with a shopping service (usually I only buy 2nd hand clothes because it's simply cheaper xD). But this bag has horrible quality, the fake leather rubbes of very quickly and it had many loose threads.
I also think many brand shoes are a rip-off when you see the quality X_x But I understand if you sell dresses for 250€ you can't sell shoes for 20 bucks xD

62. Do you shop online? If so, put the good & bad points here to advise others.
Yes, I don't think it is possible for a Lolita NOT to shop online, except you are living in Japan. Maybe also in Paris and San Francisco, but there you can only buy from 2 brands.
The good points are of course that you have a bigger selection and can find cheap items. But I would prefer to have a physical Lolita shop, because then you can try on the clothes and you see how they look in reality! I had to sell many items because they didn't fit me or looked not like I expected :(

63. Is there a secret person/shop that you have commissioned a dress just for you from?
No, and I don't think I will ever do it, because when it comes to clothes I'm not very creative ^^' Also, the brands already released many dresses which turned into my dream dresses (look here if you want to see my huge wishlist... yes it's really huge and not even complete xD) so I can't imagine there will ever be the need for me to create my own dress xD

64. "I can never have that/see that happening!! But I will always want it!!" Is there a brand you think this of?
I think many people will write this: To wear some dresses from Victorian Maiden! The problem is that the dresses are super small, and expensive. Even if you buy them 2nd hand you will not find them very cheap.

Here some dresses I like (yes they look totally different from what I'm usually wearing xD)

65. What do you do with the clothes you don't want anymore?
I sell them ^^ But to be honest I wouldn't sell old and worn-out clothes, like socks with many stains or destroyed shoes (like I see sometimes ~_~). Just because it's burando doesn't mean you can't throw it away!

66. What is your most recent purchase? (Even non-lolita.)
Oh gosh I post this stuff too often anyway and now a question in my meme? xD Ok I will tell you, actually it was even a bit for Lolita, I bought it yesterday:

All 4 items together cost only 6€! Because it was Sale at Claire's ^_^ You can see a hair set (I bought it to create a Hime-hairstyle), stickers & buttons from the Hello Kitty Paris collection, dusty pink lace tights and black socks with golden glitter stars.

67. Is there an item you love that you can't buy/seem to find?
Yes, actually there are many xD But to name a dress which I desperately want but which is REALLY rare: The Btssb Ribbon Ribbon Hello Kitty JSK <3

Other rare items I'm searching for:

Btssb ~ I scream for the magic ice cream (but in pink)

 AP ~ Jewellery Box

 AP ~ Dream Magic

Btssb ~ Hawase Doll OP (from the Kamikaze Girls movie)

Btssb ~ Usakumya PARIS edition (but in white)

68. What do you think of people who only wear lolita to conventions?
I also don't wear Lolita everyday, because my style is defnitly not made for everyday. I wear it only for meet-ups, conventions or when I met with my friends who are also dressed in Lolita. It's your own decision how often you wear it, but I think someone who truly loves Lolita fashion want to wear it more often, and since conventions are only a few times a year, you just can't wear it ONLY to conventions xD At least I couldn't ^_^

69. What do you think of lolitas without makeup?
Lolita-clothes in general look like a piece of art, even a simple Classic Lolita dress looks very elegant, doll-like and beautiful in some way. So in most cases it just don't look good if you wear clothes full of art, but then stop at your face. But I have to say there are some people who can wear Lolita without makeup, I know at least two :)
The only No-Go is to wear wigs without makeup! Even if your wig is in your natural hair color, your face will "disappear" because the wig fibers have a more intensive color then your real hair.

70. Another lolita is wearing the same coordinate/clothes as you!! What do you do?
I would think "TWWIIIIINNNNSSSS" and I would ask for a picture xD

In the Tea Room

On Wednesday I visited a Tea Room in Bonn, called "First Flush". I visited it with my Lolita Gang xDD Yeah I'm very happy that we have our small group, and even if the age difference is 11(?) years between the youngest and oldest person, and even if we have different lifestyles, we still are connected through the fashion and get along very well! <3

In Germany you don't often find Tea Rooms, to be honest this one is also no real Tea Room like the ones you find in the UK or USA, but it comes pretty close ^^ It has a wide selection of teas, and if you are lucky you get it in a pretty tea pot with a small tea cup. The special thing is, that each pot and cup in the whole Tea Room is an unique piece.

And this Tea Room definitly has the best cake I ever ate in my life!

Lots of tea and cake~

I had "white chocolate & coconut" tea and lemon tarte

Now our outfits:

Nyanko with her new Baroque dress

Evangeline ~ she always has so damn pretty outfits but never wants to take pictures -.-

Meeee xD

 Claire

Claire visited me at New Years Eve, and she brought me the best chocolate ever:

Princess Chocolaaaaaate :DDD Sadly it doesn't make you fit into princess dresses xD

In Germany, university and school is starting again, so have a nice start into the week my princesses~ <3

100 Lolita Questionaire: 51 - 60

51. Did you ever changed your clothes in a train station?
No, to be honest I would find it a bit disgusting when I think about some station toilettes xD But like I said in posts before, sometimes I do my styling in the train... when I drove to Paris this summer, the train had receptacles (Steckdosen), so I decided to curl my hair with my curling iron xD (hey I was bored xD)

52. What do you think of "twin" and "triplet" lolitas?
I loooove it and I'm happy that I can do it with my Little Bears Cafe dress, and also my pony skirt!

53. Do you practice any sport or related activity?
Yes, I started with Ballett some months ago <3

54. Do you feel nervous when you wear Lolita at public?
When I started with Lolita, yes! But now the nervousness turned into annoyance, srsly it's so annoying to get asked for pictures every 5 minutes, so I started to reject this questions. But I still feel more comfortable when I'm in a group and for me, Lolita is something I want to wear together with my friends and not just alone ^_^

55. How much do you spent in Lolita clothes per month?
Hmm when I count everything together what I bought this year, then ~50€ per month. But I don't buy every month something, and sometimes it's hard to count because I also wear my cute bags, blouses and jewellery in my 'normal' wardrobe. Also, the 50€ doesn't include the money I spend for conventions or for food on meet-ups xD

56. How much time passed since you know Lolita and wear it?
I heard of it 5.5 years ago, know it for 4.5 years and wear it for 2.5 years xD

57. What is your most expensive lolita item?
My rose dress:
This was my first coord with this dress ^^

58. Lolita requires spending so much money. How do you save?
1. I don't save because otherwise I couldn't spend so much, y'know???
2. I have a mini-job ^_^

59. Do you work or did you ever work?
Yes, see above xD

60. What store would you like to have in your town?
A store which would sell Angelic Pretty, also cute casual clothes like Liz Lisa, Ma*rs etc. And a store which would sell a lot of not-overpriced Decoden stuff <3

Rose breakfast // Meowchis

Hello hello my dears~ <3

A few days ago I visited the christmas market, and there was an awesome booth with many Rose products! I already admired it last year so much, because Rose is my favourite flower. I love the look, the color, the taste, the smell... everything ^_^

So this year I decided to buy some items. I bought Rose candy, Rose tea, Rose soap and Rose jam! Here are the items:

The soap already has its place in my bathroom ~ it makes the whole room smelling like Roses :D

To try all the items, I made a little Rose breakfast with my pretty tea porcelain:

Yes the tea and jam look more orange than pink, but still taste like Roses.

The Rose jam is only made from sugar (honey) with rose blooms. I don't like honey that much so I think I will use it to sweeten my tea in the future :)
Unfortunately I didn't knew before that the candy doesn't contain any Roses, it has only the shape of it :(

The tea is made from 100% Rose leaves! So tasteful~

And now to add a little bit ~*~ kawaii ~*~ to my post xD A friend gave me a cute little Meowchi as a present :) It's from her favourite shop Tasty Peach Studios. Their stuff is so unbelievable kawaiiiii you have to check it out! xD

*CHUUUU*

Meowchi is inspired by japanese Mochi, that's why she looks like a candy ball ^^

Together with her new friends xD

I got also some pendants with Meowchis, and the Cotton Candy Llama *awwww* :DDD

So, enough cuteness for today! Thank you for reading <3333

Christmas Cafe

Hello my dears~

On the 2nd Advent, my friend Asukatze invited me for a little Lolita Chirstmas party. She baked a christmas cake, some cookies, made green fruits punch, cooked for us in the evening and decorated everything so lovely! She put so much effort in it, so I was pretty disappointed by some people who decided not to come in the very last second!! But we had a nice day anyway :)

Here my christmas outfit, I hope I can make some pictures in the snow with it... but all the snow is already melted and I don't think it will snow this winter again :(

And the christmas cake ~ of course with pink glitter!

In less than 1 week is christmas ~ are you excited? ♪♫
