Japan Day Pictures

Hello! ~ <3

2 weeks ago I went to Japan Day in Düsseldorf! I really like Japan Day because many people come even from far away so you can meet a lot of people and of course many friends ^-^
We haven't done much just walking around, meeting people, getting photographed 300 times or something (my friend counted it xD) and eating pizza. So just a normal Japan Day xD

I wore my Lady Rose again :)

Sorry I don't have a normal outfit pic, I wanted to try out some "interesting" poses and this was the most acceptable picture xD

Twiiiiins with Yuki :D (Okay not really twin we didn't know that we would wear the same dress xD)

Amy with one of my dream dresses (why does she have it before me xD):

Look at her pretty hat with flowers and birds *_*

Evangeline outfit, soooo cute and her hairstyle is so damn awesome!!!

And my friend Kerstin with Milky Chan *_*

When Ami and me spotted some Disney princesses, we HAD to take a picture with them~ <3

Sorry I don't have more pictures because of my stupid cam (yeah I think I already wrote a hundred times that my cam is bad but I still didn't bought a new one yet xDDD)

Hime Mules, destroyed princess shoes, Leylas Tea Party

Hello ^_^

Like you maybe already know, I really love Hime gyaru! And I desperately wanted some mules but the japanese shoe sizes are too small for me >_< Most shops only have 3 sizes, I really ask myself how japanese girls can fit into the shoes, I mean their feet aren't just between 22,5 - 24,5 cm are they? xD
However, I decided to make some mules myself! I just bought some boring mules in a german shop and decorated them myself :)

Here are they:

Haha you don't believe me what I used for the decoration: The ribbons are from my destroyed princess shoes (more later), the fabric is just ribbon and the lace is from a headbow which was too small for me xD

What do you think about them? Do you have any suggestions what I could made better? I know they have this "self-made" look which I usually don't like, but I have no other materials and I don't want to buy anything at the moment because I have to save money for Paris and another tea party ;)

Btw this is how the mules looked before (really ugly uuuhhh xD):

~♥~♥~

Now to my destroyed princess shoes.... I'm so sad.... I only have worn them 2 times, the 2nd time was on Japan-Day this Saturday and in the evening the heels from both shoes broke T_T And I think it's too expensive to repair them because the shoes don't even fit me very well and they are uncomfortable, and I can't sell them destroyed so I decided to snip off the bows and throw the rest away T___T >>Klick here<< for a picture of the shoes so you know which I mean :'(

~♥~♥~

Aaand last but not least, today Leyla announced that she will host a Tea Party in July in the Netherlands, with Misako Aoki and Kawaii.international!! (If you don't know Leyla, she is the owner of the Lolita shop "Mfashion" and you could see her a few times at Kawaii.i TV show!) You can see more info about the Tea Party here: https://www.facebook.com/events/529178407119442/
I always hoped for more Lolita events in Europe but I think this year are too much xD There will be 4 events within 4 month... first Japan Expo/Lolita con/tea partys in Paris, then tea party in the Netherlands, then Lolita con in London and then Innocent World tea party in Vienna xD And I don't have money to visit them all ;__; But I reeeeally want to go to Leylas Tea Party, because I always wanted to meet Misako Aoki and I love the TV show Kawaii.i !!! I just need to grab a ticket! Wish me luck >___<

Melty Wish Review

Hello again my dear readers!

Last weekend I went to the Dokomi! It was really nice, I could meet a lot of people, but unfortunately I forgot my camera at home, so I will make another post later when I get some pictures from my friends :)

At the convention were many stalls with pretty jewellery, one of them was Melty Wish, which is owned by LizJuice <3 She is a very cute girl and makes pretty jewellery! And she was so nice to give me some jewellery so I can review it here :)

I choosed a shooting star necklace and a sky ring, because I really love this theme!

Like you can see, the items are very detailed and very glittery *__* They are sparkling so much in the sun I could spent hours with just looking at them xD

Now some detail pictures. First the necklace:

The shooting star is made from light pastel colors and the glitter sparkles blue and pink! I also love the small heart rhinestone at the star and the bow!

In the upper part you can see marshmallow candy (yummy! ^_^), little stars and pearls. Of course everything is glittery and really cute!

The quality of the metal rings etc. is really good, I tried to bend them but it's not possible! :) Also very important: The glitter does not come off!! That means even in 10 years there will be as much glitter on the necklace as now! <3

Now on to the ring:

The ring also glitters a lot. It's a bit hard to photograph but the glitter is more dark blue so it gives more the feeling of a sky. The ring is adjustable and well glued (with such rings I often have fear they will broke quickly, but she used a good glue ^_^).

So all in all, I would definitly buy again from her! <3 <3 <3 She has A LOT more different jewellery, please check out her shop and blogs:

Thank you again LizJuice for the pretty items!
I hope you all liked the review! What do you think of her cute jewellery?

5th Royal Pony

Hello hello! <3

Last Saturday was the Royal Pony meet-up. It was already our 5th one and I'm very happy that still many people come to our meet-up, we were around 30 people ^_^

I wore my Lady Rose again, because I wanted to twin with Ami, and there was also another girl wearing Lady Rose :D In May we want to make a "big" Lady Rose meet up, well we are currently 5 people who wear this dress, but if you also own the dress and want to join please leave a comment :D

First, we went to an Aquarium, we planned more then 1 hour for it but Ami and me left after 17 minutes xDD But it was okay because then we had enough time for pictures!

In the next time you will see a lot of photos with Lady Rose because I planned to wear it often xD In one month the Convention season starts, I can't wait!!!

Lady Rose Shooting

Hello!

On Sunday I did a little Shooting with my friends Loopy and Evangeline! We wanted to take some pictures for a book about japanese fashion, but the weather was so bad that ALL pictures of me turned out ugly :( Okay a few were acceptable, and my friend Loopy was so nice to edit them for me <3

I wore my new Lady Rose and new blouse and new hat and new shoes xD But I lost a pearl from the shoes, what a stupid day now I have to find a new damn pearl >_<

Loopy wore a 50's inspired outfit:

And Evangeline wore her Toy Fantasy. She was so lucky all her pictures were perfect >_< (or maybe I'm just a really bad model and she is a good one xD)

Yeah currently in Germany we have something like winter instead of spring but I recognized it is also in other parts of the world? So at least we are not alone *hehehe*

WTF Angelic Pretty Reservations...

Angelic Pretty is definitely my favorite brand, but there is one thing that annoyes me: their "reservations" for new prints!

They released a new print on Saturday, called Day Dream Carnival. The print consists of ponies, and like you know pony prints are generally very popular, and especially this particular print is in my opinion one of the most beautiful prints AP ever released.

my favourite dress from this series

the most popular dress & color of this series

But here comes the negative: AP sells far fewer clothes than there are demanded. That means if 100 people want to buy a dress, they only sell 30 pieces or so (EDIT: here someone wrote they sold only 40 dresses IN TOTAL at their international site + San Francisco store... ). I'm sure they make it on purpose and it is part of their sales and marketing strategy: AP makes their clothes rare so AP is considered as something special and people go crazy about this brand.

But that's not the only thing. It annoys me even more how AP deals with international costumers. You have to think about how many Lolitas there are outside Japan who wear AP and often buy the latest prints. However most of them don't buy it from the international online store or from the San Francisco store, but they buy it with a shopping service!! Because AP is so nice and sells only 2-3 dresses per color at the english sites -.-

Day Dream Carnival it is particularly crazy: Although the print was released not even 24 hours ago, it is already sold at Mbok/Y!Auctions and people even bid 3 times of the original price! And I'm pretty sure many forgeingers are bidding. I saved some screenshots from the auction pages:

They bid nearly 1000€ wtf?? Well if they have the money xD

My favourite is the OP in ivory, but I'd rather wait 5 years until it is cheaper than pay an unfair price.

EDIT: It seems that Angelic Pretty heard all the displeasure about the reservation this time and is willing to re-release it again with an made-to-order realease: http://egl.livejournal.com/19158217.html
