Kawaii Weekend in Utrecht ~ Saturday Evening

My second post about Utrecht!
We had literally a party at a club named "Tivoli". It was really fun to go to a party where all people were dressed in Lolita fashion xD Of course there was program but between the program points a DJ played real party music, and it was really good! I secretly hoped for cocktails but unfortunately they had only liquor, which I don't like (and I think it's totally not classy to drink them in Lolita fashion :-P)

When I entered, I directly run to the selling booth to grab some merchandise of Misako and RinRin! Everything was pretty cheap, postcard set 1€, Misakos book 10€ and  RinRin's CD + postcard 5€ (but later I discovered it had only one song T_T)

The first program point was the performance of Misako Aoki and her new song "Maepatsu Himeka". Everyone should do the dance!

After this, RinRin performed three songs! First her own song "Kira Kira dreamy" and then 2 cover songs.

I don't want to be critical but you could clearly hear that both of them sing only playback and also the voice on the playback was not their real voice ^_~ But I know they are mainly models and not singers and it was still a lot of fun to see their performance.

Then the first part of the outfit contest started. Everyone who attended the contest had to go on stage, there was a real catwalk :D I don't know why but I was real nervous when I went up the stage, even if I know that it was only for fun!

While Misako and RinRin went backstage to choose the winners of the outfit contest, there was a fashion show by Linda Friesen 4 o'clock, and then Scarlet Penta performed a few songs. I personally never heard of Scarlet before but she has a beautiful voice.

The last point was the announcement of the contest winners, and guess what I WON 3RD PLACE!!!!! You can't believe how proud I was when Misako and RinRin choosed me as 3rd place, I felt so honored!!! Especially because half of my outfit was selfmade: hat, shoes, necklace and gloves.

Like I told you before, RinRin liked my hat and the chiffon skirt of my friend Evangeline very much. And after they announced the 3 winners I thought "hmm why didn't they chose Evangeline, is there another price?". And then RinRin really announced that there was a fourth special price xD And of course it was Evangeline :DDD

After the announcement it was already around 10 p.m. so we went directly to the hotel and fall asleep xD

Kawaii Weekend in Utrecht ~ Saturday Tea Party

Hello hello ~ ♫

I'm back after more then 1 month without blogging X_X I have many things to tell you so the next weeks I will post more often :D First I have to tell you about the Kawaii Weekend in Utrecht, it was so unbelievable wunderful just perfect *__* I can't imagine how much time Leyla and her friends put into this event to make it so special!

I will make 3 posts: Saturaday Tea Party, Saturday Evening Party and Sunday Picnic

On Saturday, we had to get up really early at 5 a.m. to do our make up and then drive to Utrecht! We wanted to quickly change our clothes and fix our make up but in the end we needed 2 hours and then we even got lost in all the tiny streets of Utrecht, but in the end we came exactly at the right time :D
First we had to fill out some paper and wait in a room. We were a group of 7 people, it's so much fun when you can travel with many friends *_*

Then we could enter the beautiful tea party room! At the entrace everyone got a glass of applejuice (but it looked like champagne ~ very classy ^-^)

After everyone found a table, we played a game for the bingo: everyone should fill out the bingo fields with the names of persons they don't know yet. It was a lovely idea because you started to talk to new people :)

Then we could grab some food from the buffet. It was real high tea food and so tasty. You could also have some tea and coffee.

After this, Misako Aoki and RinRin entered the room! I was really happy that I could finally see them in real life, they are so pretty!

Misako Aoki and RinRin showed some pictures from their apartments and their favourite places in Tokyo.

Finally Misako Aoki and RinRin went to all tables for talking and taking pictures! First RinRin came to our table and sat down and then she said to each one of us what she liked about our outfits *_* And she wanted to know where we are from and other small talk and then we took a group picture with her! RinRin was impressed by my selfmade hat and by the chiffon over-skirt my friend Evangeline made for her dress! I was a little proud because of this ^-^

After this, Misako came and we could ask her some questions.
I will just tell you the answers, she said she needs 1 hour to get ready, her favourite dress is "Favourite Ribbon" by Btssb in the pink x red color way which she designed herself, she wears Lolita fashion every day, and she doesn't make dresses herself but when she has an idea she tells it to a designer who make the dress for her.
Then of course we took pictures with her and she gave us autographes.

Then the raffle started and I was so lucky I won a present :D Unfortunately everything was for Gothic Lolita but I could give some items to my friends ^-^

At the end, Misako and RinRin answered some last questions and we took a group picture with all participants of the tea party, and then it was already the end ;__; Time went by too fast!!

Japan Day Pictures

Hello! ~ <3

2 weeks ago I went to Japan Day in Düsseldorf! I really like Japan Day because many people come even from far away so you can meet a lot of people and of course many friends ^-^
We haven't done much just walking around, meeting people, getting photographed 300 times or something (my friend counted it xD) and eating pizza. So just a normal Japan Day xD

I wore my Lady Rose again :)

 Sorry I don't have a normal outfit pic, I wanted to try out some "interesting" poses and this was the most acceptable picture xD

Hime Mules, destroyed princess shoes, Leylas Tea Party

Hello ^_^

Like you maybe already know, I really love Hime gyaru! And I desperately wanted some mules but the japanese shoe sizes are too small for me >_< Most shops only have 3 sizes, I really ask myself how japanese girls can fit into the shoes, I mean their feet aren't just between 22,5 - 24,5 cm are they? xD
However, I decided to make some mules myself! I just bought some boring mules in a german shop and decorated them myself :)

Haha you don't believe me what I used for the decoration: The ribbons are from my destroyed princess shoes (more later), the fabric is just ribbon and the lace is from a headbow which was too small for me xD

What do you think about them? Do you have any suggestions what I could made better? I know they have this "self-made" look which I usually don't like, but I have no other materials and I don't want to buy anything at the moment because I have to save money for Paris and another tea party ;)

Now to my destroyed princess shoes.... I'm so sad.... I only have worn them 2 times, the 2nd time was on Japan-Day this Saturday and in the evening the heels from both shoes broke T_T And I think it's too expensive to repair them because the shoes don't even fit me very well and they are uncomfortable, and I can't sell them destroyed so I decided to snip off the bows and throw the rest away T___T >>Klick here<< for a picture of the shoes so you know which I mean :'(

Aaand last but not least, today Leyla announced that she will host a Tea Party in July in the Netherlands, with Misako Aoki and Kawaii.international!! (If you don't know Leyla, she is the owner of the Lolita shop "Mfashion" and you could see her a few times at Kawaii.i TV show!) I always hoped for more Lolita events in Europe but I think this year are too much xD There will be 4 events within 4 month... first Japan Expo/Lolita con/tea partys in Paris, then tea party in the Netherlands, then Lolita con in London and then Innocent World tea party in Vienna xD And I don't have money to visit them all ;__; But I reeeeally want to go to Leylas Tea Party, because I always wanted to meet Misako Aoki and I love the TV show Kawaii.i !!! I just need to grab a ticket! Wish me luck >___<
